I purchased Insurance for all my children early and my bi-monthly payments are around $10.00 . The coverage I got for them was only $15,000.00 but when they turned 18 the coverage doubled but my premiums stayed the same. Now as young adults they are insured for $30,000.00 for that same low premium. When they turned 25 my insurance carrier offered them accidental Insurance for an additional $50,000 for a very reasonable premium. This is my gift to them. They know they are protected throughout their whole life with this coverage and I still pay for it for them even though they are now the policy owners. They know when I pass away they are to continue paying on this policy to protect their families.
